The setting remains the decision maker
SENReady supports preparation and record keeping. Decisions about a child's care, education and safety remain with the setting and its qualified staff.
Accuracy of recorded information
The setting is responsible for the accuracy and currency of the support information it records, and for marking material changes so that re-readiness is triggered correctly.
Acceptable use
Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Information accessed through SENReady may only be used for the purpose of supporting the child concerned.
Availability
SENReady is not an emergency system. Emergency procedures must never depend on the availability of this or any other software.
Evaluation environments
Evaluation and walkthrough environments are provided for assessment only and must not be used to record information about a real child.
