A summary of how SENReady stores, scopes and limits access to sensitive support information.
What SENReady stores
Operational support information recorded by the setting about a child — communication method, triggers, strategies, sensory needs, routines and a flag that critical information exists — together with staff account details, assignments, readiness records and an audit trail.
Minimum-necessary access
Visibility is scoped twice. Row-level rules determine which children a person can see at all. Field-level rules determine which sections of a profile their role can see on a given assignment. Sections a role may not see are shown as unavailable rather than silently omitted.
What SENReady is not
SENReady is not a clinical record, a safeguarding case management system or a medication authority. It records that an emergency note exists and who must be contacted; it never authorises, instructs or evidences the administration of any medication.
Audit and retention
Readiness completions, approvals, access to a practical action view, observations and concerns are recorded with the profile version they relate to. Settings control retention periods in line with their own records policy.
