Everything needed to make an adult child-ready.

A readiness layer that sits between your existing plans and the moment an adult walks into the room.

Child operational support profile

Structured, versioned and owned by the SEND Lead: communication method, triggers, strategies, sensory needs, routines, critical information and named contact.

Needs-to-Readiness Engine

Deterministic rules map recorded needs to required preparation. Every requirement shows its layer, the source field that triggered it and the reason it exists.

Micro-briefings

Short, specific and readable in the corridor. Setting briefings cover this building; child briefings cover this child.

Knowledge checks

A handful of confirmation questions tied directly to the fields that matter, so readiness means understanding rather than clicking.

Supervisor approval

Always required for temporary and agency workers, for children flagged critical, and after any material change. Optional elsewhere, or enforced per setting.

Minimum-necessary access

Row-level rules decide which children are visible. Field-level rules decide which sections of a profile a role can see on a given assignment.

Version-aware re-readiness

A material change reopens only the affected steps for only the affected assignments. Cosmetic edits are versioned and audited without disrupting anyone.

Practical action view and micro-evidence

What to do, what to avoid, what to say — plus a thirty-second record of which strategy was used and whether it helped.

Concerns and escalation

Raise missing information, an out-of-date profile or a strategy that is not working, routed straight to the SEND Lead.

Dashboard and notifications

Readiness across the setting at a glance, with alerts for blocked workers, pending approvals and reviews falling due.

Audit trail

Who was prepared, for whom, on what version, approved by whom and when — recorded automatically as work happens.

Clear boundaries

SENReady records that an emergency note exists and who to call. It never authorises, instructs or evidences medication administration, and it is not a clinical or safeguarding case record.
